ntelligence of a sort or perhaps more appropriately, Mind, as has been described on the previous pages of this Short Model, is associated with the Existence Field and thereby with all of Ultimate Reality, the Mind of God, the One. Pattern matching, perception and intelligence are properties inherent to God ~ Absolute Reality and are therefore available at varying levels in individuated beings, the souls of incarnated or organic beings (see the terminology of Carlos Castaneda, Ph. D.), including humans. Pattern matching would logically be the primary sense of individuated beings as they have been described herein, used to compare our internal model of reality with incoming communications. If you could only recognize things by an exact correspondence between your individual model of reality and received communications, there would be little correspondence or recognition between the two considering the great potential for error or slight differences of viewpoint. Think of trying to recognize your family by sight if they could only be recognized by an exact correspondence to what you remember them to look like. Instead our visual system uses pattern matching processes to make a "good enough" comparison and realize something like "well her face is dirty and she is looking at an angle, but that has to be Susy" or look at an old photograph and realize something like "well he must be 30+ years younger than present reality but that has to be uncle Phil at about 8 years old."

Self referential perception or self perception at a sufficiently elaborated level becomes consciousness and accompanied by sufficient memory storage and analytical ability is eventually recognized as intelligence. Thus all intelligence is at bottom based on pattern matching. This is an insight given to me rather than something like my comments above on pattern matching which clearly illustrate pattern matching as the primary sense of souls. Carlos Castaneda, in his book, "The Eagle's Gift", describes perception as the alignment of the filaments within the cocoon (that forms the boundary for the energy portion of human beings and marks us as "organic" or incarnated beings according to Dr. Castaneda) with filaments outside of this cocoon which are part of the Nagual. This cocoon and also the frequently referred to "silver cord" seen as connecting a non-physical body experiencing "out of body travel" to its associated physical body would appear to be artifacts of the bounding rule set that defines the virtual physical body as a portion of the total soul and the communication link with associated defining rule set that provides communication between these two portions of the soul. Perhaps this is more appropriately stated as the rule set that limits communication between the two portions of the soul. Another indicator that might clarify these concepts is the new computer architecture being developed known as the ZISC or Zero Instruction Set Computer, extending the concept of the RISC or Reduced Instruction Set Computer. This new approach to computing is based on the use of special microchips that operate based on pattern matching. These chips can be used simulate neural networks and "trained" to recognize specific patterns. These chips are a manufactured in a configuration that permits them to be ganged to operate simultaneously on very long strings of data. I cannot say more about this here, but information is available by search on the Internet. It is far beyond the scope of this work to expand on all of the concepts contained in these statements. I refer you to the published works of Dr. Castaneda for that and the general psychic literature. I merely point out here that this "alignment" amounts to pattern matching, the basis of perception and the way that these things are observed by someone presently "incarnated" in a virtual physical body are all virtual reality artifacts; how they are seen versus how they actually function.


s individuated beings or "souls" of whatever complexity or level are created, the "mechanism" of perception, self perception and whatever unrecognized capabilities exist are made a part of the "volume" of Ultimate Reality it is that is designated by a rule set to constitute the new soul. This process is reported to occur at a specific location in the spirit/non physical world by Michael Newton , Ph. D. where volumes of material are ejected from the surface of the "glowing" source material (which is undefined at present). However this description of a physical process and particular "location" can certainly be considered as a virtual reality, and not something which would be perceived in the same manner by all individuated intelligences or by an individuated intelligent being resident in the next higher dimension from which these new souls are actually coming. New souls or entities they may be and newly entering our dimension, but being ejected from a glowing surface in something like the ejection of magma clumps from a mass of magma is an artifact of this virtual reality rule set. Dr. Newton's information comes from the minds of incarnated humans under deep hypnosis who are accessing their soul memories through the communication barrier described previously which will be limited to just one particular dimension of the One, associated with our virtual physical reality and the souls who belong there and incarnate here. It would appear in this virtual reality that the process of soul creation is of a random nature or possesses random attributes as not all volumes of material become fully independent of the originating mass and some immediately return to the origin. Others that become independent have varying characteristics from those suitable to be incarnated with intelligent physical beings down through lesser souls for animals, insects, plants and whatever other categories we know nothing about. Still other "souls" do not have suitable characteristics to be incarnated at any level and remain in the spirit world, fulfilling presently unknown functions. This is not surprising given Thomas Campbell's description of soul creation (creation of new individuated intelligences) in his trilogy "My Big TOE" as this would be performed by many resident beings of higher dimensions using multiple possible methods with the initial capabilities of the new souls determined by the characteristics of the beings which happened to originate them. This describes what would clearly be a process with very random results. There is a further wide variation comparable to the types of varying character and mental and emotional attributes associated with human beings. Part of our reasons for incarnating as human or other beings is to create and / or accelerate development of these attributes within our souls.

he creation process for intelligent beings in the, to us, non physical areas is described much differently by Thomas Campbell in "My Big TOE" where this creation process can be performed by existing intelligent beings with sufficient capability in a process of fissioning, a process of direct creation or a process of direct creation involving more than one intelligent being providing the basis for the new being. Not however by sexual based processes such as are the basis of the creation of new life here in our "physical" reality. Nor is there any other "non-physical" process described as in Dr. Newton's description. Not to say that his descriptions do not correspond to activities actually occurring that appear in the virtual reality way described. It's a "big world" out there. A virtual reality from top to bottom. Now if we only knew which way is up!
